European Individual Chess Championship underway in Poland

From April 7 to 19, the 2026 European Individual Chess Championship is taking place in Katowice, Poland.

After 2 rounds, GM Shant Sargsyan, GM Robert Hovhannisyan, GM Emin Ohanyan, and IM Artur Davtyan have scored 2 points, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.

GM Manuel Petrosyan, GM Mamikon Gharibyan, GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Gabriel Sargissian, IM Vahe Sukiasyan, IM Arsen Davtyan, FM Hayk Yeritsyan and FM Tyhran Ambartsumian have 1.5 points.

The 3rd round starts on April 9 at 17:00 Yerevan time.
