Gagik Tsarukyan meets villagers, highlights ties with Yezidi minority

Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), toured rural communities in Aragatsotn Province, meeting residents of Hnaberd, Rya Taza and Aragats villages, according to a statement posted on his official Facebook account on Wednesday.

Tsarukyan described the gatherings as “warm and sincere”, underscoring that farmers remain the backbone of the nation and deserve recognition for their work. In Rya Taza, he emphasized the centuries-old friendship between Armenians and the Yezidi minority, noting that Yezidis have stood by Armenians during times of hardship. He said this mutual trust continues to underpin national unity.

Concluding his visit in Aragats, Tsarukyan remarked that villagers overwhelmingly seek peace, solidarity and a secure future, urging collective progress along that path.
