Armenia deserves ‘safe and stable future’, says opposition leader

Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan continued his campaign tour through Armenia’s Armavir Province on Monday, meeting supporters in the cities of Etchmiadzin and Armavir despite poor weather conditions.

Joined by members of his team, Tsarukyan also visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, where they lit candles and offered prayers for the country’s peace, security and prosperity.

In a statement shared on Facebook, Tsarukyan said Armenians have grown weary of “uncertainty and an atmosphere of fear and pressure,” adding that the country “deserves a safe and stable future.”
