The Armenian government has approved 1.6 billion drams ($3.3 million) in co-financing for community development projects.
Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan told a cabinet meeting on Thursday the funding will support 16 subvention programs across 13 communities. The projects include one in Aragatsotn Province, three in Ararat, four in Armavir, two in Gegharkunik, three in Kotayk, and three in Tavush.
With the latest decision, total government co-financing for community projects will reach 7.04 billion drams, Khudatyan added. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan listed the programs during the meeting as a matter of practice.
