One injured as fuel truck collides with train in Armenia

A truck carrying diesel fuel collided with a freight train near the village of Dalarik in Armenia’s Armavir Province on Tuesday, causing a fuel spill and injuring one person.

The Interior Ministry’s Rescue Service said the crash occurred at 11:52 a.m. local time. Four fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene.

Preliminary reports indicated diesel fuel leaked from the truck following the collision, but there were no signs of fire. One individual was hospitalized, authorities added.
