Armenia's Constitutional Court to review classified election documents in closed session
Armenia's Constitutional Court will continue hearings on Tuesday on a consolidated legal challenge to the results of the country's June 7 parliamentary elections, with judges set to review classified documents during a closed session.
The court said the closed hearing was scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. local time as part of its examination of a case combining petitions filed by seven political groups contesting the official election results summarized in a June 14 decision of the Central Electoral Commission.
According to the Constitutional Court, proceedings will return to public session after the review of the classified materials. The court said it will announce the timing of the reopened public hearings separately.
The case has been under consideration since June 26.
