Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan will travel to Istanbul, Turkey, on July 1-2 to take part in a ministerial conference focused on strengthening health systems’ preparedness and response to earthquakes.
The trip was authorized by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to a government decision posed on Tuesday.
Avanesyan’s daily expenses will be covered by funds allocated to the Health Ministry under Armenia’s 2026 state budget. Her travel and accommodation costs will be borne by the host country.
