Car crash in Armenia's Gegharkunik leaves one injured

A 72-year-old man was hospitalized on Saturday morning after his car collided with another vehicle on the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province.

Shamshyan.com reported that the crash happened at around 7:45 a.m. near the Gavar intersection, when a VAZ 2106 driven by Rubik A. collided with an Opel operated by 33-year-old Arman B. Both men are residents of Gegharkunik.

The elderly driver was taken to Gavar Medical Center with injuries. The Investigative Committee’s regional branch has launched a criminal probe into the incident.
