Overhead power lines fall onto city bus in Yerevan

Overhead electric wires fell onto a Route 54 Zhongtong city bus in Yerevan on Saturday after a trolleybus damaged the power lines along Myasnikyan Avenue near the Yerevan Zoo, Shamshyan.com reported.

The incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. when a Route T1 Yutong trolleybus reportedly damaged the overhead wires with its current collector, causing the lines to fall onto the bus. No injuries were reported.

Police patrol officers responded to the scene, secured the area and began documenting the incident. Authorities are investigating the circumstances.
