Ruben Mkhitaryan: Armenia's ruling party never had elected mayor in Gyumri

Famous TV producer Ruben Mkhitaryan, the Gyumri mayoral candidate from the My Strong Community party, stressed that the ruling Civil Contract party has never had an elected mayor in Armenia’s second largest city.

“Since the creation of the Civil Contract party, Gyumri has never had a mayor representing it – only acting mayors, and even then, just for a few months,” Mkhitaryan wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

“Gyumri has spoken loud and clear. Greetings to the capital! The father city is smiling,” he added.
