Death toll from Chambarak gas explosion rises to six

One of the three victims transferred to Yerevan in critical condition after the gas explosion in Chambarak has died, the Ministry of Health reported. This latest fatality raises the death toll from the incident to six.

The explosion ripped through an apartment block in the northeastern Armenian town on Wednesday, causing severe structural damage.

Of the remaining victims transported to Yerevan, two are in moderate condition and remain under medical supervision.

Meanwhile, three individuals, who were initially treated at the Chambarak Medical Center, have been discharged. Four other patients remain hospitalized there and are reported to be in stable condition.
