One in critical condition after gas explosion in Armenian town

Following the deadly apartment blast in the town of Chambarak on Wednesday, one of the three victims transferred to a Yerevan hospital remains in critical condition, while the other two are in moderate condition, Armenia’s Ministry of Health reports.

Five people were killed and ten others injured in a gas explosion that ripped through an apartment block in the northeastern Armenian town on Wednesday. The blast destroyed a section of the four-story building.

Three victims have already been discharged from the Chambarak Medical Center after treatment, while the other patients remain under medical supervision and are reported to be in stable condition.
