Moonq TechnoSchool head denies media report on rally buses

Ashot Avanesyan, founder and director of the Moonq TechnoSchool, has strongly refuted a recent report by pro-government media outlet Civic.am as “nonsense”.

Civic.am published photos of several buses, claiming they were used to transport municipal employees from Tashir, a town in Armenia’s Lori Province, to a rally in Yerevan in support of businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan. The outlet alleged that Tashir Mayor Edgar Arshakyan was pressuring staff to attend the march scheduled for Friday evening.

Avanesyan dismissed the report, clarifying that the buses were organized by Moonq TechnoSchool to transport attendees to Tech Week Armenia, a major technology event.

“Civic.am posted photos of Moonq TechnoSchool buses headed to Tech Week Armenia and spun them into a nonsensical story,” Avanesyan said in a social media post. “I will demand a formal retraction and won’t stop there.”
