Investigative Committee comments on searches at ENA and its board chairman's home

Urgent investigative actions are being carried out at the headquarters of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) and at the residence of Narek Karapetyan, Chairman of ENA’s Board of Directors, Panorama.am reports, citing Investigative Committee spokesperson Kima Avdalyan.

“The urgent investigative measures are part of the criminal proceedings initiated by the General Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling, as well as the Yerevan City Investigation Department,” Avdalyan stated.

"We will issue an official statement in the near future,” she added.

As reported earlier, at around 8 a.m., law enforcement officers entered the ENA headquarters and Narek Karapetyan’s home to carry out raids.
