Vagharshapat voter turnout reaches 22.7%

Voter turnout in the enlarged community of Vagharshapat reached 22.71% as of 2 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Central Electoral Commission. A total of 15,868 people cast their ballots in the City Council elections.

Earlier in the day, 5,283 voters, or 7.56% of the electorate, had participated in the vote.

According to data from the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Interior Ministry, Vagharshapat has 69,866 registered voters.

A total of 47 polling stations have been established for the elections, in which eight political forces are competing.
