Ministry reports four alerts of alleged violations during Vagharshapat elections
Armenia’s Interior Ministry says it has received four alerts about alleged irregularities during Sunday’s local elections in Vagharshapat. As of 12 p.m., all reports were undergoing verification. Officials say they are also reviewing media reports related to the vote.
According to the Migration and Citizenship Service, 23 people applied to be added to supplementary voter lists and received confirmation documents, while 18 voters were issued temporary identity papers to participate in the elections.
The ministry’s call center received four election-related inquiries. Three citizens sought advice from the mobile service office and 24 others received assistance at the Vagharshapat branch of the Migration and Citizenship Service.
