Tsarukyan votes for 'good changes' in parliamentary elections

Armenian voters headed to the polls in parliamentary elections on Sunday, with opposition leader Gagik Tsarukyan declaring that the vote would usher in “good changes” for the country.

“We voted for good changes so that people can live well, earn money and stay in high spirits,” Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, told reporters after casting his ballot. He arrived at the polling station with his wife and grandchild, appearing upbeat. The station was located at a newly built kindergarten named after his mother, Roza Tsarukyan.

Tsarukyan expressed confidence in the opposition’s prospects, saying, “We will definitely win.”
