International Energy Corporation expresses support for Samvel Karapetyan

The staff of International Energy Corporation CJSC has expressed its unwavering support for the company’s owner, entrepreneur and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, who has been detained for two months.

“Thanks to Samvel Karapetyan’s personal efforts, numerous industrial and construction enterprises, as well as supply and logistics organizations, have been established,” the company said in a statement posted on the official Facebook page of Karapetyan’s defense team on Saturday.

“At every stage of his life, marked by new achievements, Samvel Karapetyan has stood as an exceptional patriot and devoted son of the Armenian nation. Keeping his compatriots both in Armenia and across the Armenian diaspora at the heart of his attention, he has quietly carried out large-scale charity work and made generous donations.

“We are confident that Samvel Karapetyan will honorably overcome this ordeal and will soon return to continue his mission true to his character,” reads the statement.
